Since February 2008 I am with the German-Jordanian University in Amman, Jordan. I am assistant professor for computer science and was appointed head of the computer science department in Sep. 2008.

From October 1999 to March 2008 I was a full time professor for Computer Science at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

From 1999 to October 2004 I have been teaching at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts Wirtschaft. In October 2004 I changed to Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts Technik & Architektur.

I was teaching:

  • data base systems
  • Java programming
  • C programming
  • ethical topics related to information technology
  • introduction into programming
  • distributed systems and component technology and CORBA
  • object-oriented concepts in information management, especially object-oriented database technologies
  • creative use of computers (especially Flash)
  • information management

Next to teaching I was responsible for the organization and the quality of student thesis work in the computer science applied to business administration course.

Besides I try to find some time to do a bit of research: I am interested in computer communications, e-learning, social implications of computer science and many other topics.
Please contact me for further information by mail
